The Tuneable Pipelined Frequency Transform is a proprietary, patent applied for, hardware design for implementation in FPGA or ASIC. It is a high specification reconfigurable multi-channel filter-bank optimised for real time applications.
The TPFT should be considered as a superior replacement for standard frequency transforms (e.g. FFT) and multiple digital down-converters and filters. However, the characterising feature is its ability to be reconfigured on-the-fly to any frequency plan, thus providing a fully flexible, future-proof digital front-end for the telecommunications, defence and instrumentation markets.
The core will accept high sample rate quadrature inputs (up to ~150MHz) and provide the individual filtered channels outputs (I&Q) at baseband in a multiplexed continuous stream for further processing.

TPFT

The
figure above shows how the standard PFT’s coursely tuned intermediate
stages, are accessed and then interleaved through a fine tuning
architecture before being shaped for final output from the core
